The guys at TDE have gone and done it again with another music video. In “No Joke”, a track from Jay Rock’s acclaimed Black Friday mixtape, Jay takes you through Watts to remind you that he’s…well…no joke. While some of TDE’s other excellent music videos have been more visually oriented in terms of editing and effects, “No Joke” keeps a focus straight on Jay Rock and his ever-present glare, giving his expressiveness the center stage as he spits his verses in various locales around Los Angeles. The eerie piano loop and Jay Rock’s sharp delivery is done justice in another fine music video from the nonstop hustlers of Top Dawg Entertainment.
