This poignant story was aired on Fox 11 News in LA in 2008, featuring a 22-year-old Jay Rock doing what he can to help his fellow neighbors in the struggle, including writing a 4,000 dollar check to an elderly woman so her neighbor wouldn’t be evicted. For a rapper who’s all heart, the story serves as no surprise.
