No other West Coast group has made the impact that Black Hippy has in such a short amount of time. It’s not surprising then to see the hip hop community praising the four man collective. TheWellVersed.com recently sat down with the group following their SXSW performance, and gave fans an update on how they’ve been progressing. Among the topics of discussion were Jay’s generosity to his fellow labelmates and the group’s perspective on hip hop’s obsession with co-signs. Jay gives Tech N9ne and Strange Music a shout out at the end of the interview and assures fans that a Black Hippy album is coming soon.
