UPDATE: It was a full house today for SM Live. TXX Will, Ubiquitous from CES Cru, Chauncey Clyde, DJ Chill, and MDot joined Makzilla for the second week in a row. Big Scoob and Tech N9ne jumped on today’s panel too.

The guys talked about Lady Gaga, who apologized for using the word retarded in an interview this week. They didn’t think Gaga needed to apologize for her comments.

Here is what Gaga had to say about the comparisons between her track “Born This Way” and Madonna’s “Express Yourself”: “That’s retarded. If you put the songs next to each other, side by side, the only similarities are the chord progression. It’s the same one that’s been in disco music for the last 50 years. Just because I’m the first f—ing artist in 25 years to think of putting it on Top 40 radio, it doesn’t mean I’m a plagiarist, it means I’m f—ing smart. Sorry.”

After discussing Lil B, who announced that his next album will be called I’m Gay, Makzilla picked up where things left off last week on the greatest debate. The panel paid tribute to all the ladies in the game. Many names were mentioned, but Lauryn Hill, Lil’ Kim, Queen Latifah, MC Lyte, Eve, and Missy Elliott were some of the favorites. The women were rated based on album sales, hit records, and game-changing ability. The debate came down to Queen Latifah and Lauryn Hill.

The conversation shifted to the best rap labels. Def Jam, Death Row, Bad Boy, No Limit, Priority, and Cash Money were some of the rap labels named among the best of all time.

What do y’all think about the best female MCS and the best rap labels?
