  • My cousin showed me “I’mma Tell” & from that point on I bought every Tech album

Well… I was in 8th grade and the brother of one of my classmates came in class once to see us all. He was sitting behind me and we were talking about rap music. I asked him who his favorite rapper was and he replied “Tech N9ne”. I was like “Who’s that?” so he handed me one of his earphones and played “The Virus”. I was quite impressed, but (and I really feel embarassed by that) by the time I got home, I forgot Tech’s name…! Maybe a month after that I was searching for “Eminem feat. Pharoe Monch” on YouTube, because Pharoe Monch is one bad muthaf***a and I end up watching “The Anthem”. After the second verse I didn’t want to listen to the full song. I was replaying N9ne’s verse over and over again. After that I did a quick Google search and I found out he had about six albums. Since then, there hasn’t been a day without listening to Tech N9ne or any of his labelmates. I even have (a bit of a shameless plug-in) unrecorded songs, wherein I display with pride the fact that I’m a Techn9cian unil the END.

In 2008 I was going out to shoot pool with my cousin and brother. My cousin’s husband had Absolute Power playing in the cd player. The song was “Here Comes Tecca Nina”. I immediately started feeling it. Then “Imma Tell” came on and I had recognized the song..having heard it before. So I asked my cousin’s husband if I could borrow the cd. I made a copy of it and added it to my Ipod. Well the cd was so fucked up, not all the songs would play. So a few months later after I had some money. I went to my nearest Best Buy and got myself a copy of that bitch. Bumped it since. Due to personl reasons, I had no money or resources to bump anything else of Tech’s. I knew he had more albums, but no way of hearing them. Finally February of 2010 I had my chance. I downloaded everything Tech. Then come March, I had some cash, I went and got Everready. Everready called out to me, due to my obsession with “The Rain”. But the more I listened to K.O.D., the more I fell in love with Tech. Having had alot of down times in my life, I connected with K.O.D. my salvation was “The Hole”. I’ve never listened to music..I’ve felt it. It’s why I’m a juggalo. I related to ICP’s music and have done so now with Tech. A few weeks ago I ordered all the cd’s I don’t already have, am currently waiting for Gates Mixed Plate so come in the mail..then I’ll be getting All 6’s & 7’s..I will be a Juggalo Tech9cian until death. Thank you Tech. K.O.D. has been my outlet of all the negativety in my life.

  • First time I heard Tech? Damn, prolly about 4 years ago. I was chilling by a campfire smoking a blunt with my homie and my girl at the time, Listening to some Juggalo shit. About half way through the blunt and getting ready for a bong, my dude asked if I had ever heard of Tech N9ne. I was like, “nah who’s that?” He then proceeded to put on Riot Maker. The beat started playing, I was amazed, I hadn’t heard anyone deliver such a sick rhyme. So I did a little research. Started listening. Since then, I have been listening to Tech. Afterwords I introduced the man to the rest of the Juggalos around the town. Soon enough the parties on the weekend were all bumpin Tech, soon through the week too haha. Tech has brought me nothing but parties and stress relief, Thanks Tech
