Jay Rock’s Follow Me Home hasn’t just made an impact in United States. The debut album from the Watts native seems to have made its way around the world, as one lucky Japanese fan received a copy of the Strange Music release. Follow Me Home has kept up the momentum in the weeks following its release thanks to the smash singles “Hood Gone Love It” and “Boomerang”. Japan has long had a strong fascination and admiration for American hip hop, and with Jay Rock at the front of the New West, it’s not surprising to find him so far from home.
