Tech N9ne Discusses Lil Wayne, Eminem, And 'Welcome To Strangeland'A mere twenty four hours after the release of Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter IV, Tech N9ne found himself at the center of every conversation in the online hip hop community.

Credited for having the best guest feature on the album, a humbled Tech N9ne spoke openly to HipHopDX.com regarding his new fame, his work on Welcome To Strangeland, and his missed opportunity with Eminem. Much to everbody’s surprise, Tech would reveal that Welcome To Strangeland is slated for release on November 8, his birthday. When asked about his part in Tha Carter IV and whether or not he stole the show, Tech replied:

“So when Wayne played me the beat, it was moving slow … [and] I had to be in the middle of it, so that’s what it required. When it requires it, I’ll go in. And people are saying that I stole the show – That’s flattering, next to Andre 3000, ‘cause I’m a big, huge fan. I love Andre’s part. I’m still trying to decipher the words he’s saying, like what he’s talking about, ‘cause it always means something. ‘Everybody’s always talkin’ about the light ones, but tonight we’re gonna do it for the dark ones.’ I was like, Okay, he like brown skin bitches.”

Tech also went on to give some insight on his attempt to collaborate with Eminem and why he believes Eminem is the best MC out. Faced with more pressure and expectations than ever before, a confident Tech N9ne prepares to bring the world into Strangeland.
