Glasses Malone ‘No Sympathy’ Featuring Jay Rock [Song]

Sep 2 2011

Glasses Malone - Beach CruiserJay Rock and Glasses Malone team up once again to represent the West Coast in true gangsta fashion.

“No Sympathy” find the pair trading verses about the streets and real West Coast life. Backed by production from Meetro, the cool and funky music brings listeners back to the 90’s and golden era of West Coast music. Jay Rock’s appearance plays off Glasses Malone so naturally that one can’t help but wonder if the two should just form a group together. During one of the track’s best lines, Jay spits:

“Silent cries of a hundred rounds
even mainstream artists get put underground”

Jay Rock’s rough and rugged stylings make their usual appearance as he once again shines on a guest feature. The chemistry between both MCs is a clear sign of their respect and admiration for each other (recall their music video and song “Dollars Make Sense”) Glasses Malone’s Beach Cruiser is sure to round out the summer that Follow Me Home already blazed.
