Tech N9ne has been around more than a decade, and gone platinum without a major label. He’s been touring on and off since May in support of his last album All 6’s and 7’s, which was #4 on the Billboard Top 200. He’s on Tha Carter IV. Not exactly a lightweight.

In fact, he’s got another album, Welcome to Strangeland coming out on Nov. 8, his 40th birthday. But he still performs like a beast, and his sold-out show at The Roxy showcased his skills as a live performer.
