Tech N9ne's Homecoming Performance

There are few things that can compare to seeing Tech N9ne perform in his hometown of Kanas City, MO. Dubbed the Kansas City King, Tech N9ne has been showing his love for the city since the beginning. This past weekend, the king returned home for a phenomenal night of performances that proved he hasn’t slowed down one bit.

The Lost Cities Tour stop in Kansas City was a very special one for more reasons than the obvious. Strange Lane’s own Young Bleed made a special appearance along with local favorites, CES Cru. The Kansas City Star was on hand for the event and reviewed it, noting Tech’s incredible presentation:

“Lacking live instrumentation, his appearances are not so much conventional concerts as bacchanalian dance parties in which the choreographed dancing on stage is mirrored by the audience’s uninhibited celebration. Opening with ‘Strange Music Box’ and closing with ‘Stamina,’ the still-stunning statement of purpose from 2001’s Anghellic album, Tech N9ne and cohorts Kutt Calhoun and Krizz Kaliko performed over 30 songs in 100 minutes.”

With almost 3,000 fans in attendance, Tech N9ne’s homecoming event was one to remember. The center of Strangeland was absolutely electric for the mental giant.
