Tech N9ne Thanks Jim Morrison For Strangeland

On December 8, 1943, one of the most influential frontment in rock’s history was born. Jim Morrison’s legacy with The Doors not only inspired an entire generation of musicians, but also provided the necessary spark inside Tech N9ne’s mind to create the world known only as Strangeland.

Paying his respect on Morrison’s birthday, Tech took to Twitter to thank the legendary singer for his good fortune and success with Strange Music. As fans may already know, Tech N9ne’s love for The Doors inspired him to move forward with Strange Music, named after The Doors’ “People Are Strange”. Since Strange Music’s creation, Tech N9ne has credited Jim Morrison for anything and everything Strange. The similarities between the two even take an eerie turn when you consider that Jim Morrison died the year Tech N9ne was born (1971). With Strangeland growing by the day, another piece of Jim Morrison lives on thanks to Tech N9ne.
