In one swift blow, ¡MAYDAY! caught the attention of fans everywhere by dropping two major updates regarding the release of their Strange Music debut, Take Me To Your Leader.

After months of anticipation, the Miami group surprised fans when they simultaneously released the official trailer for Take Me To Your Leader and the album’s first single, “Death March”. Picking up where they left off on Stuck On An Island, ¡MAYDAY! explores new territory on Take Me To Your Leader, which was given an official release date of 3/26/12 in the trailer. As if the news wasn’t exciting enough, ¡MAYDAY! gave fans a first taste of the album with the Plex Luthor produced “Death March”. The dark and militaristic production finds Bernz and Wrekonize going in for the kill with social commentary and witty delivery. With such big news coming out of the ¡MAYDAY! camp, it was only a matter of time before the web began buzzing about the updates. Music media outlets from XXLMag.com to HipHopDX.com provided coverage on ¡MAYDAY!’s bombshell announcement. As ¡MAYDAY! once again prepares to visit cities across the nation on Tech N9ne’s “Hostile Takeover 2012” Tour, the indie music scene watches on and eagerly awaits the group’s latest offering on 3/26/12.
