Praise be to the independent rap gods!

Arriving later this month, bay area rap legend E-40 will be dropping not just one, not two, but three new records. E-40, not dissimilar to, ahem, someone we should all know, likes to bombard fans with unrelenting greatness all at once.

40 confessed to AllHipHop.com:

“The numbers prove my old school tactics make new school dollars. For the past two years they thought it was crazy for me to release two albums at the same time just like we did back in the day. Again, I proved them wrong.”

The upcoming albums titled The Block Brochure: Welcome To The Soil 1, 2 & 3 will feature a variety of well-known artists including none other than the man himself, Tech N9ne. This won’t be the first time the two have collaborated. E-40, along with Snoop Dogg and Strange Music’s Krizz Kaliko were featured on “Pornographic” from Tech’s 2011 release All 6’s and 7’s. But now the tables have turned, and this time E-40 has invited Tech to make his mark on at least one of his 15-17 studio albums.

Clearly, as an avid contributor and supporter of the underground movement, E-40 knows a good thing when he hears it.
