On a mission to reach more listeners in 2012, Tech N9ne has been busy crafting the follow up to last year’s All 6’s And 7’s, and as a recent interview suggests, Kanye West may have inspired Tech to break new creative barriers.

While in Colorado Springs for the Hostile Takeover 2012 Tour, Tech N9ne sat down with ColoradoSprings.com for an exclusive video interview regarding his work in 2012.

Speaking on his new album, Tech N9ne explained how Kanye West’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy re-established his creative outlook and what it means to the structure of his music. Tech also went on to reveal that he has picked about 18 brand new beats for the project.

With Tech already hinting at work with the superstar producer, it’s clear that Kanye West’s music has had a significant impact on the Kansas City King.
