With the very first annual CES Fest only days away, CES Cru dropped some bombshells for their fans in an interview with The Kansas City Star.

For fans that have been eagerly awaiting new material from the dynamic rap duo from Kansas City, they shouldn’t have to wait too much longer. CES Cru confirmed that their debut Strange Music release will be the 13 EP which is set to be released this fall. 13 will feature seven brand new tracks from CES Cru. No word at the moment as to any features or producers but we will be sure to keep you posted.

On top of that the article cited word of a “Special Guest” to appear at CES Fest 2012. No word on who that guest will be, but we will also keep you posted on that one as information comes forth.

One thing is for sure: with the release of their solo mixtapes, a fall EP release and their role as hosts and performers for the biggest hip hop extravaganza that KC has ever seen, 2012 is proving to be a good year for CES Cru.
