Two independent powerhouses just joined forces as we announce MURS as the newest artist to join Strange Music.MURS brings undeniable skill and an incredible business savvy, with a long catalogue of incredible music and experience bringing independent hip hop to the forefront as one of the founders of the Paid Dues Festival. Having been independent for much of his career, he’s no stranger to the grind that it takes to reach the hearts of many.

To announce the newest member of the family, Tech N9ne had MURS appear with him as a surprise guest on Shade 45’s Sway In The Morning to premiere the new song “Hard” from Tech N9ne Collabos: Strangeulation. In the song, Tech N9ne throws a lyrical alley oop to MURS, introducing him as the newest member of Strange Music, right before MURS takes over the song and completes the track with a devastating verse of his own.

You may remember MURS from his verse on ¡MAYDAY!’s “Hardcore Bitches”. Now the man who has put in over a decade of thought-provoking and groundbreaking hip hop now has joined one of the most elite rosters in the game.
