Out on the road for the Hunger Pains Tour with Kung Fu Vampire, ¡MAYDAY!’s Wrekonize paid a visit to BReal.TV to chop it up with Dr. Greenthumb on a variety of topics including the SXSW experience, giving “Fragile” away to Tech N9ne, and his 2013 title of Strange Music MVP.

Catching up on more recent happenings, Wrek also goes into detail on the MURSDAY project – the collaborative effort between ¡MAYDAY! and MURS:

“We made it a specific point to not make it like, ‘Oh, this is a ¡MAYDAY! album that they just threw MURS into.’ The meetings before the album – it was dope because everyone had a conscious mind to be like, ‘Look, let’s make it so it’s cohesive – this sounds like we made an album together.’ It’s not just what we normally do and we put MURS’ verses in.”
