Being King of Independent Hip Hop was never enough for Tech N9ne, who boldly proclaimed that his upcoming album Special Effects will make him a household name.

Recently, Tech N9ne told The Boombox that he is amazed that after two decades, he is “still on the incline.” The soon-to-be-released Special Effects could prove to be the tipping point that turns him from “Your favorite rapper’s favorite rapper” to everybody’s favorite rapper, as he says:

“After this album, everybody’s gonna know me.”
