CES Cru always provides high energy tracks. Lyrically, they’re at the top of their game. With Recession Proof, CES worked with three different producers–Kato, Seven, and Leonard Dstroy–allowing them to flow over three different styles of beats and production.

What’s your favorite song? “Recession Proof” and “Letterman” are slower, more relaxed jams, while “Ricochet” is an upbeat, rock-influenced tune showcasing their growth as rappers. “Famished” has a killer hook and touches on how CES has proven their critics wrong. “Off The Hook” is a hard-hitting track with Joey Cool. “The MO” concludes the album superbly, providing a glimpse of their home state with a distorted, haunting hook.
