Just as fans everywhere prepared to Lace Up, MTV RAPFIXLive caught up with MGK to discuss the album’s major collaborations including “Edge Of Destruction” featuring Tech N9ne and Twista.

The inspirational track first surfaced last week, giving fans a shot of Midwest adrenaline. In this video clip, MGK reveals the various artists he tapped for Lace Up and breaks down the significance of working with Tech N9ne and Twista.

Although the emcees were not able to link up in the studio, MGK insists that the energy was there and it made for a “big moment”. Positioned for a big debut, MGK takes his movement nationwide.
