    Maybe that's why....

So I have been thinking why many fans aren't interested in Tech's party/pop music, and the conclusion I have come to is this; The mainstream puts out more than enough party music, Tech is an alternative. I feel that listening to Tech vent about shit that pisses him off, not necessarily makes him sad, helps many fans vent themselves, to hear someone else say the exact same thing that you are feeling, you can find comfort in that. With the current economic status a lot of us are out here scraping by, meanwhile mainstream artists have nothing important to say other than "Look at all this money/women/cars/homes I got!" To hear Tech flip the script an do the same thing is just kind of saddening for some. Tech is an artist that the average Joe can relate to, he's struggled and had ups and downs, but as of now, Tech has made it, which is fine. It's just hard to relate when you hear, "Oh Tech got pulled over and arrested while test driving Travis' brand new lamborghini." It may sound as if the fans that don't agree with Tech flaunting his wealth are being haters, but when you got a fan who busts his ass at a 9 to 5 just to make rent and feed himself/family, and spends what little extra cash he has on a Tech CD or concert, I am sure he isn't going to want to hear about how awesome the brand new Benz and the $70k necklace Tech just bought is. That's just why I think the fans don't want to hear the party/pop music, you guys let me know what you think.

I somewhat agree, the mainstream market is saturated with superficial material but on the otherhand tech has always had the party n bullshit music on every album. One thing I've always wondered is how tech will react in the face of a life of touring for the majority of his life with a boat load of groupies at his disposal, will the content be rich and heartfelt in the next couple of years or will tech become a one sided artist who only knows how to write about partying and sex??? He's done good so far, only time will tell

As in here is hoping he maintains his heartfelt rich music, and not become the one sided artist, as you put.

I can see both sides of it I like the music that we can all relate to. Like when show me a god first came out that song almost made me cry because four years ago my mom passed away and I had/still have the same feelings he was letting out. But on the other hand one of the things that got me listening to tech was the way he comes up with shit n how he spits it is alot of times for me like damn how does anyone come up with that so either way I'll support tech (not saying anyone else won't) but that's my personal opinion I do agree with what is said in here but for me personally tech could tap about whatever he wants n I'll still listen cuz I like how he flips shit n the way he flows n shit

Ehh Ill disagree with you on that one. Tech has always rapped about money hoes n clothes, and dancing is a key component of hiphop and has been incorporated in rap since its birth.
If tech wants to rap about dancing , fucking bitches and making money, I dont mind. If he raps about those things the majority of the time and turns one dimensional then Id have a problem. I think a rap artist should be mult layerd when it comes to flow as well as content.
