    Frank Ocean Confesses Sexuality

I thought this would be interesting to post on this site, considering how most of you are bigoted, hateful pieces of white trash who has nothing better to do then discriminate others on their life choices and the way they simply are.

Huge respect from the Jazzman to this guy. It takes a lot to admit something like this, especially when your music scene is notorious for all the gay hating within it.

Ready, set, go!! Post your "he's a faggot" comments like I would expect you to. All you bigots make me sick.

Jazzman out, heroin to shoot, jazz to play, bitches be needing the Jazzman in their lives right now.

You shouldn't have posted this here. The majority of users in this website are homophobic. In hip hop, gay men = taboo but lesbians = the best thing since bread.

Franks a pretty serious dude, and rumors have been floating around on every Hip-Hop site for weeks. The note he posted on Tumbler was intended to be a "Thank You" section for his album, but with all the rumors going around he posted it to clarify. Either way I think this could be a pretty big thing for the Hip-Hop culture. As for Franks music, I'm not a fan, but I give the man mad props for being able to have the courage to come out to his whole fan base, shit even the whole world. The only problem I have with it is that I feel like blogs, music sites, ect. are going to label him as "Bi-sexual singer, Frank Ocean" rather than just letting the man be. Shit first Anderson Cooper comes out on a world-wide level, and now Frank. Crazy shit. I just hope all this leads to some progression for the LGBT in Hip-Hop.

I don't hate someone because they're gay, i can chat to a gay guy easily, unless they're a faggot (aka a person whos entire personality is built around being gay or is so camp its fucking unreal). I couldn't chat with a rapist because that shit affects other people, being gay is only affecting the person themselves and who they're with, so thats cool with me on a personal level, i just don't agree with their sexual choices. If that makes me a bigot then fuck whoever thinks that, im not allowed my sexual opinion because gays have theirs? Fuck that and whoever believes in it.

In terms of Ocean... I think its a joke, apparently Odd Future have been kicked off a festival or some shit for being homophobic. Yet their DJ is a lesbian and this dudes gay? Thats like bein white and having black dudes in your crew but being racist as fuck. Doesn't make sense.

Seems like it's somewhat related in this topic, just because people use the word faggot often DOES NOT mean they are homophobic.

That will suck if this hurts his career, because as far as I see it, he is the only person out of odd future that has actual talent.

I really don't think it will have an impact on hip hop, people will defer to the fact he's an rnb artist. Never listened to much of his music although I couldn't imagine doing do now. No problem with gay people but listening to a love song while knowing the entire time he's talking about other dudes LOL! Oh well life goes on

That's almost exactly my stance on this lol. I can't listen through the work of somebody who I know's a fag simply because his lyrics are more than likely to reflect that whether it be a love song, innuendos, or whatever the case. If that's the life he chooses to lead I still won't agree with it, but nor does it concern me in the least so it doesn't bother me. Long story short? Time to delete the one Frank Ocean single I have off my iTunes.

I think it's great seeing celebrities, and people in general, come out and be comfortable with their sexuality, but celebrities especially because when there's someone that's in the limelight, a musician who people are a fan of, or w/e, and they come out, it helps make people more open-minded and tolerable, just like Anderson Cooper. 'n like Jake Stocker said, I hope he doesn't get labeled "a bi-sexual singer", he's just a singer lol. but Idt it's gonna change hip-hop just yet, as was said, he'll just be placed in RnB 'n the ignorant people that hate the LGBT community aren't gonna be swayed by this. Imo, it's gonna take a/several HUGE figure(s) in hip hop or a popular, openly gay rapper to make a big push, but on the other hand, newer generations are more tolerant and understanding of this kind of shit, so who knows. all in all, glad to see Frank be open about everything and comfortable with who he is, think it's sad to see the negative comments, I'll never understand why sexuality bothers so many people

I think what Frank did was brave. I will continue to listen to his music and i still plan on buying his album when it drops. Good music is good music. Freddy Mercury was gay and he made some dope music..

    Good for Frank.
