    Yahoo! calls lil wayne a pop star

    the article is about three little girls making a song called letter to lil wayne, i think and talk about how is music is degrading to women and promotes drug use. i just thought it was funny that the called him "pop music's major stars"

    Very true, shits making money now. All the record exec's know that and pimp the shit out of the genre. It's a shame because it's nowhere close to what it was suppose to be.

    i dont know why they are making lil wayne the scapegoat in this, when there a hundreds of other mainstream artists who make music about the same stuff he does. and yeah, they called him a pop star because hip-hop is now a mainstream genre

    I'd say many of the "women" of hip-hop culture are more degrading than the music itself. These girls complaining need to go to some big clubs and check out the high rate of skanks.

    So true, for that matter take any Hip-Hop album with a parental advisory sticker slapped up on the front and see if you don't find drug use and sexually explicit material somewhere within it. Hence the parental advisory sticker! These little girls shouldn't even be listening to an album containing such material unless their parents allow it, which in that case they are really to blame. And you can't tell me that these girls are merely hearing these songs on the radio because almost 80% of anything vulgar is either replaced or edited out. Come on now...
