With thousands in attendance at the Sprint Center in downtown Kansas City, Lil Wayne paid the ultimate repect to the city by bringing out the king of the town, Tech N9ne. Currently out on his “I Am Still Music” Tour, Wayne arrived in Kansas City just one day after reportedly suffering a minor injury during a skateboarding accident. That didn’t seem to slow down the Young Money leader, as he energetically ran through his biggest singles before taking a brief intermission to personally thank Tech N9ne and pay his respect to the indie giant. Fans may recall how Tech N9ne visited Lil Wayne during his incarceration in Riker’s Island in 2010. Wayne proceeded to thank Tech N9ne on stage for visiting him, and then brought him out to a huge reaction from the Kansas City crowd. While Lil Wayne surprised the crowd, fans flooded Twitter with updates on the live performance. Before the intermission was over, Wayne also confirmed 100% that Tech N9ne will appear on his long awaited Tha Carter IV album. A leaked tracklist for the album included Tech N9ne, but fans remained skeptical. It looks as though Wayne has laid any and all rumors to rest, as he was looking to prove that he shares a mutual respect and admiration with Tech N9ne.
