A recent surge of teenage crowds in the upscale shopping district of the Kansas City Country Club Plaza had resulted in a shooting that injured three youths ages 13, 15, and 16. This incident begs us to ask, do kids have enough to do? Do we as a society raise our children with a viable set of options for activities that are not destructive and troublesome? What can we do better to raise our children to be happy members of society?
