The Pitch blog has released their list of the top five songs that show love to the city of fountains. Kansas City has inspired numerous artists over the years to sing their praises to the city they love. Among the top five, they have listed Tech N9ne’s ode to Kansas City, “It’s Alive”, from Anghellic. The author had this to say:

The love for the 816 is 100% palpable, as the song reps everything except Gates BBQ — that’s so good, Tech had to give an entire song over to it.
