Slaughterhouse’s own Joell Ortiz decided to hit the web once again with an unofficial street remix to Tech N9ne’s “Am I A Psycho?”. Enlisting the help of rap veteran Pharoahe Monch and even B.o.B himself, Joell leaked the rough cut online through various hip hop outlets. Flowing over the original production of “Am I A Psycho?”, the two MCs take turns putting a new twist on this already crazed hit from All 6’s And 7’s.

Fans may remember Joell Ortiz from Tech N9ne’s K.O.D. Tour, as well as the rest of Slaughterhouse. Just when fans thought the lyrical onslaught couldn’t get any bigger, Joell reminds listeners why he is so respected in the game. Taking over the track, Joell flexes his skills with the first verse:

“There’s a cricket making noise outside of my window sill
I can’t concentrate on my Contra, yes I play Nintendo still
while reading a book and cooking, some say this is ADD
I count every step I take, I like to A-D-D”

With the massive success of All 6’s And 7’s, it’s not so surprising to see a street remix pop up, especially from one of the biggest hits on the album. Perhaps fans can look forward to hearing Tech N9ne drop his two cents into the mix. Psycho or not, you’ve got to love great hip hop.
