‘All 6’s And 7’s’ Ranked #7 On RapGenius’ Top 25 Rap Albums Of 2011

Dec 28 2011

As 2011 officially winds down, Tech N9ne appears to be on everybody’s radar. The independent MC that caught the world’s attention this past year is finding himself on nearly every “best of” list this week.

Tech N9ne’s monumental All 6’s And 7’s smashed open new doors for the Kansas City King. Featuring appearances from Lil Wayne, Busta Rhymes, T-Pain, and Deftones, the album proved to be an unstoppable force going on to reach #4 on the Billboard Top 200. With hits like “He’s A Mental Giant” and “Worldwide Choppers”, it was hard to deny that the album was some of Tech’s best work. Perhaps that’s what influenced RapGenius.com to list the album at #7 on their Top 25 Rap Albums Of 2011. Placing the album among others from Common, Kendrick Lamar, and Pharoahe Monche, the website highlighted Tech’s effort with:

“The predominantly underground rapper turned in one of the best performances of the year with his twelfth studio album. The critics favored the album.”

Still driven to sharpen his skills with every release, it looks like Tech N9ne will have plenty to celebrate going into 2012.
