Tech N9ne Praises Jay-Z

When it comes to elite emcees, Tech N9ne knows who to keep an eye on.

While in the UK for his European Tour, Tech N9ne sat down with Semtex TV for a brand new interview that reveals just who the Kansas City King considers to be the best in the game.

Speaking on his favorite lyricists, Tech takes a moment to show respect for the likes of Eminem, Slaughterhouse, Chino XL, Talib Kweli, Rick Ross, and even Jay-Z, going so far as to say he looks up to the hip hop titan.

Tech also weighs in on hip hop’s influence and whether or not it impacted the recent election by recalling a time when hip hop was said to be a fad.

With a deep love for his craft and admiration for his peers, Tech N9ne is keeping himself sharp and making sure he’s mentioned among the best.

  • What do you think about hip hop’s influence?

Hmm talking about collaborations with Rick Ross and now looking up to Jay-Z? Something here is strange but not in a good way.

  • I’m not a Rick Ross fan but if your seriously trying to say looking up to Jay-Z is a bad thing then you don’t know what your talking about. Jay is a legend and earned everything he has. I dont care for anything from “Kingdom Come” on that much but 1996-2003 Jay Z was one of the greatest rappers ever, and anybody who owns a business should look up to him cause he came from nothing and now has half a billion dollars.
