As one half of CES CRU, Ubiquitous has been making noise on the independent scene for years. More recently, the duo managed to capture the attention of Tech N9ne and went on to appear on his Bad Season mixtape and the Best Buy bonus tracks for All 6’s And 7’s. Now, Ubiquitous is stepping out on his own for a solo mixtape entitled Matter Don’t Money. For the first single, “Roadwork”, Ubiquitous has released an official music video that features a cameo from Tech N9ne and the Strange Music compound.

Like any CES CRU release, “Roadwork” focuses on lyricism and unique production that separates it from most other current hip hop releases. Both members are said to make an appearance on Tech N9ne Collabos Welcome To Strangeland, and the numerous Strange Music cameos only fuel rumors that CES CRU may be next in line to officially join Strange Music. Could this be a sign of things to come?
