A couple weeks ago, one of the coolest pieces of news ever was dropped into our laps. It turns out Darren Lynn Bousman, director of SAW 2-4 and Repo! The Genetic Opera, cast our boss and your favorite rapper Tech N9ne as “The Librarian” in his new movie The Devil’s Carnival 2.

If you’ve seen the first installment of The Devil’s Carnival series, you know that it’s one of the only times you’d use the words “badass” and “musical” in the same description.

Now a nine minute trailer has been released for the sequel, premiered by Noisey.

After seeing the trailer, we can assure you, further badassery is to ensue:

Sites like Bleeding Cool, XXL, Bloody Disgusting, and Fear.net covered the release of the trailer, and after seeing that nine minutes of awesomeness, fans took to Twitter to express their excitement:

Given Darren Bousman’s excellent taste for evil and gore, we can only assume that the addition of Tech N9ne will make The Devil’s Carnival 2 one of the must-see movies of this year.
