Strange Days Tour Update: Chicago, Illinois

Published: June 12, 2010 in Strange Music by

Strange Music and company touched base in the Windy City for its next stop on The Strange Days Tour. Chicago, being a mecca for the Midwest, was full of anticipation and enthusiasm to see the regional kings in Strange Music throw down and do what they do best. The show at The House of Blues sold out, which turns out to be the first time a Strange Music show has sold out in Chicago. The show got an overwhelmingly positive response from the audience and should set the precedent that when Strange comes to Chicago, it’s going to be sold out and poppin’. The show was a massive success and a statement that Strange Music is–after ten years of doing it–still on the up and up. The next stop for the tour is in Cleveland, Ohio.

Make sure you catch Tech N9ne, Brotha Lynch Hung, Kutt Calhoun, Krizz Kaliko, Big Scoob, Prozak, and Cognito coming to a town near you for the Strange Days Tour!

What a Awesome experience @ TECHN9NE’S Party at this show in Chicago! After a year in the making, waiting and traveling 7 hours to go to one…… This is a note from Just a a Crazy Mom who took her Sons to see his Dream … a Strange Music concert and meet Techn9ne and the others. The VIP events, the concerts & the whole evening ended up being priceless memories for both of US!!! My opera box seat ended up unknowingly to me, being in the Rapper’s box where they hung out during the show. Wished my son was there with me. But he had his time during the VIP session. Despite Rappers Reputations they all were gracious & the House of Blues Security took good care of ‘Mama’ (the nickname they gave me)! My Son LOVED the whole event….. . Strangely enough so did his MOM!!! I am not normally a Rap fan, and got a lot of flack for taking my son to such an event…. but Parents that are not willing to go into their kids world lose a part of them…I’m glad and still am glad that I got to experience and see a part of their world. I have a new respect for the artists. The Whole Show was upbeat, fun and full of tons of energy. Thus creating Priceless Memories, that I can always share with my Son!
