Tech N9ne’s latest release, The Gates Mixed Plate, became available for Pre-Order in May. Although The Gates Mixed Plate doesn’t include the track, “What’s Yo Psycho?”, featuring Brotha Lynch Hung and Sundae, it was offered as an exclusive Mp3 download when the album was Pre-Ordered from Strange Music’s online store at Strangemusicinc.net. Produced by IcyRoc Kraven, this track is a tribute to “NNUTTHOWZE”, an IcyRoc led creation that Tech N9ne was a part of in the early 90’s. IcyRoc and Tech have collaborated on several occasions creating staple tracks in Tech N9ne’s catalogue such as, “This Ring” and “It’s Alive”. The quality of music that the two create together is undeniable. And because of their obvious chemistry on records, rumors have consistently swirled around the two Kansas City legends for years. Most of them involving the unreleased material from the duo’s collaborative efforts in the early 90’s, and a reunion of the two in the form of a full collaborative studio album. Although none of the rumors have ever been verified or denied by either party, “What’s Yo Psycho?”, gives fans yet another reason to fantasize about the possibilities. While IcyRoc and Tech N9ne don’t disappoint, Brotha Lynch Hung and Sundae both kill their respective verses as well to round out another dope cut courtesy of IcyRoc.

The Gates Mixed Plate, Tech N9ne’s latest release, features the singles “O.G.” and “Jumpin’ Jax”. Tech’s third release in a series of collaborative studio projects coined “Collabos” features Devin The Dude, Glasses Malone, Jay Rock, Yukmouth and many others. The Gates Mixed Plate is available in stores now!
