Long considered one of Strange Music’s best pure MCs, Kutt Calhoun was actually the first artist on Strange Music to tap into the mixtape market with his 2007 release, Flamez Mixtape. The mixtape has since become a collector’s item due to a limited pressing. Strange Music fans hail it as some of Kutt’s best work to date, and with good reason. Tracks like “Hit Me Back” featuring Tech N9ne and “Putcha On Da Flamez” featuring Krizz Kaliko stand out as sharp examples of Kutt’s tight flows.
