Hope Behind The Hype [Editorial]

Jun 2 2011

All 6’s and 7’s, has been generating buzz throughout the Strange Empire and even some mainstream circles. Tech N9ne is obviously putting his heart and soul into this album. With collaborations from T-Pain, Busta Rhymes, Twista, Lil Wayne, Yelawolf, Hopsin, and B.o.B; Tech is going all in on this record. All 6’s and 7’s is promising to be the Earth-shattering project that may take Tech and Strange Music soaring to new heights.

With new fans expected to arrive by the truckload, Tech is taking extra precautions to keep his core fans loyal. The Pledge of A Techn9cian was introduced to officially recognize the fans who have stayed with Strange Music throughout all kinds of metaphorical weather. Another example is the MP3 download track that came with the All 6’s and 7’s pre order. “F.A.N.S.” is another testament to Tech N9ne’s undying love for his fans. This album has not gone without its fair share of controversy, though. One of the most anticipated songs, “Worldwide Choppers”, had legal issues due to conflicting record labels. Tech intended the track feature some 9 artists, including overseas rappers. The track was eventually released in its entirety, to much acclaim. Another example, rumors of a collaboration with Eminem have gone cold. Fans have also expressed some disapproval of the cover of the album, some saying that Tech looks like a Mortal Kombat character.

In short, All 6’s and 7’s is sure to be a preconception-smashing album teeming with star power. This album is almost guaranteed not to disappoint. All 6’s and 7’s will certainly be another classic, oozing lyrical talent. Even in a state of confusion and disarray, Tech’s mission is clear as ever.
