Despite a nearly six year wait, Tech N9ne has not forgotten about his beloved KABOSH project. During his All 6’s And 7’s Tour stop in San Diego, Tech spoke to Examiner.com regarding the expectations for K.A.B.O.S.H. Determined to make the album more than just an amalgam of rap and rock, Tech maintains that he wants real music for real people:

“I don’t want to be rapping through the whole thing. I want to sing, I want to do everything. ‘Cause I can.” Though, laughing, Tech admits, “If [I’d] be playing anything, it’d be the bongos.”
Tech also discussed his recent collaboration with Chino Moreno and Stephen Carpenter of Deftones on “If I Could” from All 6’s And 7’s. It seems as though the track served as an outlet for Tech to move towards completing KABOSH in the near future. With all of the recent talk on K.A.B.O.S.H., fans may finally get to hear the long awaited album that promises to push the boundaries of rock and rap.
