As two of the biggest names to ever come out of the hardened streets of Watts, Jay Rock and Tyrese have overcome their share of obstacles and risen to the top of their industries. With such a similar background, it’s not too surprising to see both artists connect to represent their hometown. The Transformers star tweeted a picture of himself and Jay Rock in the studio during a recent meeting. As Jay would go on to confirm over Twitter, Tyrese is hard at work on a new album, and with the two in the studio, a collaboration can’t be too far behind. While Jay Rock’s debut album, Follow Me Home, continues to heat up the summer, fans may have even more to look forward to.
