There’s no denying Tech N9ne’s long reign at the top as the independent king. With Strange Music behind him, the Kansas City native has built a career on hard work and innovative music. While Tech N9ne may be the biggest name in Strangeland, it wasn’t until this past year that the rest of the world recognized Tech N9ne’s talent.

XXLMag.com recently compiled a list looking back at when rapper’s first made it big in the music industry. The list worked its way up from Souljah Boy at age 17 to Tech N9ne, now at age 39. Tech N9ne’s recent appearance on Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter IV is credited with being the spark that put Tech N9ne on everybody’s radar. Regardless of age, Tech N9ne has proven that he can hang with the best of them and is now gearing up to bring Strangeland to the masses.
