Tech N9ne Included On Common-Breath's Best Of 2011

With less than two weeks left in 2011, websites and blogs everywhere are rolling out their top lists for the year. Already named Emcee Of The Year by HipHopDX.com, Tech N9ne continues to collect various awards for his breakthrough year in music.

Common-Breath.com recently gave Tech N9ne considerable shine by listing him on both their Top 5 Hip Hop Artists Of 2011 and Top 10 Hip Hop Songs Of 2011. Joining the likes of Danny Brown and Immortal Technique, Tech N9ne lands the #2 spot on Top 5 Hip Hop Artists Of The Year. Praising his independent success, Common-Breath wrote:

“In 2011, Tech N9ne and Strange Music conducted their business as usual, over 200 tour dates, two album releases and lucrative merchandising, and in the process he watched the popular hip hop industry fall in line, including collaborations with Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes and a showstopping feature on the BET Hip Hop Awards Cypher.”

For Top 10 Hip Hop Songs Of 2011, Tech N9ne’s “He’s A Mental Giant” secured the #3 spot among a list that includes Lowkey, KRS-One, and Kendrick Lamar. Thanks to the release of All 6’s And 7’s and Welcome To Strangeland, Tech N9ne made sure that 2011 would belong to the king.
