Blind Fury may be known to the hip hop world as one of the best freestyle emcees around, but his road to fame hasn’t been without its struggles. Now as Blind Fury fights to stay in the spotlight, it appears as though he may be looking to Strange Music and Tech N9ne for a new opportunity.
The freestyle champion recently spoke to South Carolina’s The State for an exclusive interview detailing his path to stardom. From the physical ailments he had to overcome at young age to the hardships awaiting aspiring artists, Blind Fury has faced it all. Discussing his plans for the future, Blind Fury revealed a possible deal with Strange Music:
“Since I was a very, very little boy, Tech N9ne was my inspiration,” Fury said. “And Tech N9ne is the reason I keep doing this. His image and his movement and what he’s really about really stood out. When I came on the scene, Tech embraced me.”
Blind Fury’s appearance on “So Lonely” from Tech N9ne’s All 6’s And 7’s introduced him to the Strange Music audience in 2011. With Tech N9ne’s indie empire expanding every day, Blind Fury may just be next on deck for the snake and bat.
