FSU News Reviews "Take Me To Your Leader"The acclaim just keeps on building for ¡MAYDAY!’s Take Me To Your Leader. With fans and peers buzzing, critics are now dropping in to review the brand new release from Strange Music’s first band.

FSUNews.com recently posted a full review of the album and gave fans, old and new, a feel for ¡MAYDAY!’s new direction:

“TMTYL opens with ‘Badlands’, an album highlight featuring none other than Tech himself. With banging live production and equally impressive lyricism, the track not only sets the tone for what’s to come but also demonstrates the band’s growth in its most obvious form. Both ‘Badlands’ and first single ‘Death March‘, are decidedly much darker than anything else I’ve heard in the band’s discography and, frankly, it works. Fans of the band’s older music might be hesitant to embrace the new sound, but, lucky for them, they won’t have to.”

The review also went on to credit ¡MAYDAY! for producing an entirely new sound within hip hop and avoiding the pitfalls of average rap/rock outfits.

Going strong on their first week of release, ¡MAYDAY! is finding a new audience thanks to their originality and penchant for musical risks.
