Stevie Stone's "Rollin' Stone" Hits The Charts

Stevie Stone’s Strange Music debut, Rollin’ Stone, has officially earned the emcee his first appearance on the Top 100 music charts following first week sales.

Fueled by Stevie Stone’s current stint on Tech N9ne’s Hostile Takeover 2012 Tour, Rollin’ Stone also included the singles “808 Bendin'” featuring Tech N9ne and “Dollar General” featuring Yelawolf.

HipHopDX.com rounded up the latest sales figures for hip hop albums and broke news of Stevie Stone’s success on the music charts:

“Three years later, Stone is signed to Tech’s label, and went as far as releasing his third album as “Tech N9ne Presents…” The results appear to have given Stone his first Top 200 appearance, at #73. Rollin’ Stone features Yelawolf, Kutt Calhoun and former Ruthless label-mate Hopsin.”

According to Billboard the album made the following chart positions as well:

  • #9 Rap
  • #12 R&B
  • #16 Indie

While there is more than enough reason to celebrate the success of his Strange Music debut, Stevie Stone has assured listeners that this is only the beginning and he still has plenty of ladders of success to climb.
