Stone Stone Talks With Baller Status

Stevie Stone’s signing with Strange Music may has symbolized the next step in his career, but simply being on the #1 independent hip hop label wasn’t enough for the hungry emcee.

Sitting down with Baller Status, Stevie Stone recently recalled his path to Strange Music and opened up about the making of Rollin’ Stone. Among some of the topics of discussion, Stevie Stone explained his motivation and what it is that keeps him driven for more:

“It was something that I was born with. It was something that my family put in me. If you want something hard enough, you’re going to go for it. No, is not an answer. No, is not an option; failure is not an option. You go for what you want. The harder you work, the more that you put out, the more that it’s going to come in.”

The determination inside Stevie Stone shined bright on his Strange Music debut and with plans to continue his push in 2012, fans will no doubt see how focused Strange Music’s “Perfect Stranger” really is.
