As he continues on the Independent Powerhouse Tour, Krizz Kaliko made some time for Shawn Setaro and The Cipher Show, a podcast that features interviews from some of hip-hop’s most groundbreaking artists.

The interview takes us down memory lane of Krizz’s musical career, shedding light on everything from his first record with Tech N9ne, to “genre hopping”, to the creative process behind his latest album, GO.

While speaking on GO, Krizz also talks about “Stop The World” and the impact it has made on the lives of both himself and many others.

“There’s millions of people with anxiety problems. There’s millions of people with depression. I write about it and feel that it’s brave that I talk about things that people don’t want to talk about on my serious songs. Then, everyone who hears it identifies with it. It’s really touched people, but that’s a byproduct of it. For me, it’s my therapy to be able to get these thoughts out in song form.”
