On top of the Strictly Strange Tour’s massive schedule – including travel time, rehearsal, meet & greets, and the actual performance, many of the artists find themselves doing interviews.

One of the most recent is with MyConVersation on KAIL-TV. Tech N9ne, Krizz Kaliko, and Darrein Safron each sat in on the interview to talk a bit about their lives on tour and how the Strange Music tour life is different from others on the road. While explaining to the host how massive the Strictly Strange Tour is, he remembers a conversation he had with Kendrick Lamar, who joined Tech, E-40, and Krizz  on the Independent Grind Tour (2010) as he rapped along side Jay Rock.

“I remember when Kendrick Lamar was doing a show with Drake. This was like his first big tour. Kendrick had toured with us first. I remember him telling me that on Drake’s tour, people were saying 18 cities was a big tour and Kendrick was like, “Nah – I toured with Tech N9ne and Krizz Kaliko. 18 cities is nothin!”
