During his trip to New York City Tech N9ne finally got the chance to meet Lil Wayne in person during a visit to Riker’s Island. Tech sat down with XXL, who tweeted the interview, and shared his experience of the visit along with his reflections upon a collaboration with Wayne. Lil Wayne wants Tech N9ne to appear on Tha Carter IV and Tech has a track lined up with Wayne in mind as well (possibly to feature Eminem?) Tech posted an update of the visit on his Twitter, a retort to all of his fans who might feel bitter about the collaboration:

“If anybody got anything bad to say bout Wayne, don’t say it to me cause thats a real nigga I just visited in there.”

Funkmaster Flex, who originally got this fire started by interviewing Wayne from prison, also kept his followers updated of the visit with a tweet and a post on his website. MTV also posted an update.
