Brotha Lynch Hung might be from the valley, but Bay Area hip hop website TheBayIsBack.com made an exception for the neighboring MC by awarding “Meat” from Dinner and a Movie as the Bay Area hip hop video of the year. The video beat out others by Bay Area artists such as E-40, Too Short, and Andre Nickatina. Here’s what the website had to say:

Brotha Lynch Hung may not be from the Bay Area, but Sacramento is close enough and this video is too good to be ignored. The lyrics alone are intense, but this video takes it to the next level. This video was especially important in 2010 with many people still feeling the effects of the recession.
