XXL revealed its 2011 freshman class last week to much hype. Everybody had something to say about the new freshmen who graced the cover. Our own Jay Rock joined other hip-hop newcomers like Wiz Khalifa, J. Cole and Big Sean to form XXL‘s 2010 freshman class.

Jay Rock was dubbed as most hood out of the group of 2010 freshmen. Top Dawg Entertainment’s Kendrick Lamar, a member of the Black Hippy crew, was named to this year’s 2011 freshman class. Check out Jay Rock in XXL‘s 2010 freshmen issue.
