The impact that a great collaboration can have on an MC’s career is not something to be overlooked. Some of the best selling and most memorable songs in hip hop came to be through collaborations, including those with Pop artists. Stevie Stone recently has fans buzzing over Twitter when he revealed his admiration for singer Bruno Mars. With a platinum album and several smash singles including “Grenade” and “Just The Way You Are”, Bruno Mars has gone on to become one of the biggest selling artists in music today. His talents have also helped launch massive singles with collaborations that include B.o.B’s “Just The Way You Are”, Travie McCoy’s “Billionaire”, and Bad Meets Evil’s “Lighters”. Looking to release his debut Strange Music album, Stevie Stone may just be after a hit collaboration with the Pop star.
