Who better than the original party crew the 816 Boyz to provide Iowa State with a charged up sports anthem?

Desmoinesregister.com confirms that Tech N9ne, along with the 816 Boyz, has recorded a brand new theme for the Iowa State Cyclones football team as they prepare to take on Western Illinois.

“Comin’ Thru” is the product of a collaboration between Tech N9ne and Iowa State defensive lineman Jake McDonough, who first approached Tech N9ne’s uncle at a live show about working with the Kansas City King. The final result is a brand new track that will ring through speakers as Iowa State takes the field.

The new 816 Boyz-assisted cut also gets some extra vibes from the Iowa State drumline, making for the ultimate fight song. “Comin Thru” will play during Iowa State’s game against Western Illinois this week and is tentatively scheduled to debut in its entirety next week.
